Whether you’re here to unwind or explore, guests can enjoy access to three private lakes (bring your own kayak/paddleboard) and miles of rugged ranch trails, perfect for hiking and riding. Our property offers a true backcountry experience, so please know that while our trails are maintained, guests should expect natural terrain and a more rugged experience than what you would experience at a state park.

On 60 acres, lots of dirt roads, and a rough rocky dry creek to explore. hummingbirds, jack rabbits, deer to keep you amused. Several clear cool swimming holes on the Nueces River just minutes away. You are invited to hike and explore over 500 acres of our 1000 acre Four Sisters Ranch and enjoy the great outdoors away from civilization, traffic and city lights. The Frio and Sabinal Rivers are but a short distance away. The seclusion and privacy make for the perfect romantic getaway or bring the kids to enjoy the ranch

Relax at this wonderful peaceful place with the family. The river is accessible from the house by ladder. Great fishing from the backyard! There is a spacious yard and beautiful trees. The porch is a wonderful place to sit back and enjoy the view. Internet is available but be aware it is a rural speed, not fast city speed. The house is 5 miles from Camp Wood which has restaurants and stores. A park is a short way away with benches, covers, another place to fish and to launch a kayak.

We also provide kayaks for exploring, tree swings, and hammocks for ultimate relaxation.

This peaceful cabin is centrally located in the Texas Hill Country, close to Garner State Park, Lost Maples State Park and Hill Country State Natural Area. Drive through the Hill Country on the Twisted Sisters, enjoying the beautiful scenery and wildlife. Close by, you can enjoy floating or swimming in the Frio River and the Sabinal River at the Utopia Park. Utopia has a renowned golf course featured in the movie Seven Days in Utopia. Concan 20 miles away also has a golf course.

Two queens, three singles. Nestled near the largest Oak on the property, Rio Escondido has a full kitchen, living room and a front porch overlooking the river. Just outside the cottage doors is Nomad's rustic open air barn, perfect for relaxing, playing games and dining.
