We are just a 5 min walk from the Blanco River and River Road and a 3 min drive to the Wimberley Square. The house is well stocked with your kitchen essentials and bath goodies to soak the day away.

Poppy Seed Cottage is a charming tiny house located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. Halfway between Austin and San Antonio and a short distance to Wimberley, New Braunfels, Gruene, and San Marcos. It is the perfect couples weekend get away. It has a French country style with a plush bed and a small fully equipped kitchen. It is located in a cute country neighborhood on the north side of Canyon Lake on a scenic woodsy lot with a dry creek on the backside. No flooding here!

Our quarter log cabin is nestled on 10 acres. It sits on a western facing hillside overlooking the Fischer valley. Its a great place to get away from the city and crowds! Its location is very quiet and secluded. Go for a walk down the hiking trails where you may see deer, squirrels, hummingbirds, roadrunners, rabbits, grey foxes, lizards, butterflies.... Relax with your favorite beverage on the covered front porch where you can see amazing sunsets and the stars at night.

Kids enjoy exploring, wildlife and roasting marshmallows while snuggling up around a campfire. The experience is much like camping, not to be compared with a hotel.
