Welcome to our cosy, private cottage / apartment. Avoid (most) loadshedding (solar backup). Good wifi. Near university, hospitals, Newlands cricket, green space, airport, restaurants, shops, ATMs, transport (Ubers, no MyCiti yet). Convenient access: city centre, tourist attractions (beaches, Table Mountain, golf courses, Kirstenbosch). All yours: lounge, kitchen, work and eating area; TV with Netflix; large bedroom, en suite shower. No garden access. We welcome guests from all backgrounds.

Cottage 54 is a one bedroom studio cottage on the property of a house in upper Bakoven/Camps Bay. Fully private terrace and separate entrance from the road. Equipped with a queen size bed, sofa, table & chairs, bathroom, shower, and kitchenette. Interior is light, modern and with a Scandinavian touch. 5-7 minute walk to Bakoven Beach, and 10-12 min walk to Camps Bay beach with all the restaurants, bars & coffee shops. Off street parking and private entrance. 2 min walk to a Superette.

We offer guests considerable relief from the effects of scheduled power blackouts (load shedding). Our solar PV panels charge backup batteries which provide emergency power for lighting, WiFi, TV and electronics during blackouts.
