Sunset Shepherds Hut

A self contained secluded luxury Shepherds Hut sleeps two near the Brecon Beacons national park with delightful valley views. Situated on a small working farm eight miles from Junction 49 at the western end of the M4. Enjoy the seclusion of the farm and walking opportunities in the area as well as the local attractions in East Carmarthenshire of castles, stately homes, gardens, local villages and towns. Further afield are the beaches and beauty spots of Swansea, the Gower and Pembrokeshire.

We have a huge variety of wild flowers and bird life and our dark skies offer perfect opportunities for star gazing. We are rural but not isolated and surrounded by castles, beaches and the National Botanic Gardens is just 15 minutes away. Further out are the Gower and Tenby beaches and walks and waterfalls of Brecon.

Maes Y Grove Garden Cottage is one of a pair of properties on a quiet but accessible small holding in a rural area situated between the villages of Llanddarog and Nantgaredig and conveniently situated for the National Botanical Gardens of Wales, Aberglasney Gardens, Llandeilo Town and Carmarthen.

The cottage is part of a 9-acre ex dairy farm. We live in the 200 year old Farm House next door. Excellent base for exploring the Pembrokeshire Coast with some of Britain’s best beaches.
