The location provides you and your family the opportunity to explore the bay immediately adjacent to the cottage. The deck allows for beautiful views of the Bay. Vacationers can also enjoy many other outdoor activities on and around Cedar Island such as horseback riding, fishing, hiking, surf fishing, and kite boarding . Ferry to Ocracoke Island 2 miles away. Cape Lookout National Seashore is a short drive.

The Yates Cottage

Welcome to the beauty and nature of Core Sound! The Yates Cottage is directly on the water and is designed for spectacular views of Core Sound and Cape Lookout Lighthouse with large windows on 3 sides. Other amenities are a large screen porch, fire pit, and a large yard for lawn games. The Yates cottage is great for couples, families, dogs, joggers, walkers, bikers, fishers and boaters. You will be welcomed with freshly-made beds, towels and a full kitchen with Keurig and Rachel Ray cookware.

Coastal Retreat on Waterway w/Hot Tub

Quaint 3 bdrm 2 ba home situated on the intracoastal waterway. Want to go to the beach but don't want to be in the mainstream of it all? We are close enough but far enough. Enjoy tranquil moon lit nights listening to dolphins as they swim by. By day, lounge on the porch, pergola, hot tub or dock and watch the parade of boats pass by. For the fishing enthusiasts an array of fish can be caught from the dock to incl, sheep's head, flounder, puppy drum, speckled trout, blue fish, crabs and more.

River Watch Retreat

You will not forget your stay at the River Watch Retreat, and will want to tell your friends. This beautiful cabin offers a full NW view of the Carolina Blue Sky and setting sun on ENC's Trent River. Interior is paneled in locally sourced Poplar with Cedar accents. Beadboard and custom ceramic tile compliment the bathroom. Sleeping options: foldout couch downstairs and futon in loft. *Watch Bald Eagles, Geese, Heron and Osprey from 2 elevated decks a stone's throw from the water!

Water Lover's Retreat

Private, open floor plan cottage-studio on the water. Wake to views of the White Oak River, fish, kayak and enjoy the sunrise and sunsets from the decks. Easy paddle to Jones, other intracoastal islands and to Swansboro for lunch. A ~15 minute drive will take you to the Emerald Isle beaches or Swansboro to walk the historic district and visit the many shops and restaurants. Updated May 2025! 4 bedroom 2 full bathroom oceanside beach house located on one of the best neighborhoods in the island. Home is a 2 minute walk to a private and secluded beach access. Shopping Center is 1/2 mile away with a Food Lion and various shops and restaurants. 10-minute drive to the bars, restaurants, and fishing charters of downtown Morehead City and 15-minute drive to historic downtown Beaufort.

Carriage House on the Neuse River

It is a perfect place to rest and relax and enjoy country, river life. The carriage house is 650 sq feet of open living space with a full bath, queen size bed, living area and full size kitchen on the second floor of our carriage house. It is private. There is a deck with wonderful views of boating and sunsets. You have access to our dock for sun bathing, fishing and swimming.
