Trinity Island Lodge - your own private island

A private island to yourself, staying in an original stone walled lodge situated in 150 acres of forest surrounded by lakes which connect to the River Erne in County Cavan. 2 fishing boats included for up to 6 guests. Take in the view of the lakes and the 12th century Trinity Abbey. Enjoy the private walks around the island, following badger/deer trails, listen to the dawn chorus, meditate, read, write, take photographs, fish, take a trip by canoe, boat or float tube. Afterwards enjoy a sauna.

WE OPEN IN WINTER BUT THE SWIMMIMG POOL WILL BE CLOSED FROM 1st NOVEMBER TO 31ST MARCH. We are a French native couple, in love with nature and Ireland, we live on the property, among the ducks and wild geese. Driney house is located in the County of Leitrim, in the heart of the Shannon Valley, on the Waterways. It is located in one of the most important areas for sport fishing. The property has its own garden on the shores of the lake Scur. it is close to traditional pubs and small shops.

Lakeside Cottage is a cottage situated next to the rural village of Aughnacliffe Co.Longford. Suitable for Singles, Couples or Small families. We are next door to Leebeen Park with its beautiful playground and lake and a short 2 minute drive to scenic lakes of Lough Gowna. Lovely spot for fishing lovers and kayaking.1 Minute walk/drive tothe local pubs/shops and a short 5 min drive to nearby villages Arva and Lough Gowna. 15 minute drive to Longford Town and a 20 minute to Cavan Town centre.

Lakeside Chalet Optional HotTub/sauna sleeps 4-5

Skeaghvil chalets are located in a woodland setting beside Skeagh lake, near Bailieborough Cavan. The Hot Tub can be added to your stay for an extra charge and it’s not shared. Fishing boat is available to hire for Skeagh Lake and kayaking can be booked on the Castle Lake or your welcome to bring your own kayaks. Skeagh is an area of natural beauty and it’s a walkers paradise. There are various running and bike trails to choose from within a short distance of the chalets.
