Winter brings downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing and beautiful snowy vistas. Summer allows hiking and all things outdoors sounded by million acres of public lands. The 800 square mile top of the Grand Mesa hosts 300 lakes for fishing as well as paddle boarding and other small watercraft. Hiking trails galore and Powerhorn mountain supports summer mountain biking.
