Casa Milorca Cottage Suite

The Karoo-style Cottage Suite sleeps two and is tucked away in the pretty gardens behind the main house at Casa Milorca, which was built in 1860 and is situated in one of Prince Albert's prettiest streets in the historic heart of the town. The cottage has a king-size bed with quality white bed linen, and there is an en suite bathroom with shower, as well as a compact lounge and dining area. The kitchenette area has washing up facilities, a toaster, kettle, microwave and bar fridge, and basic kitchen utensils. There is also a tea and coffee station with home-baked rusks. The Cottage Suite, which has its own private verandah, can also be configured with two single beds instead of a king-size bed. Thanks to air-conditioning the cottage is cool in summer and warm in winter; there is also has a standing fan if that is preferred.

Numbi Valley is a wonderful example of off-grid sustainable living. There is one private guest cottage on the farm and Kath and Ross welcome you to enjoy their uniquely created space. There are abundant organic gardens, a spring fed fresh water plunge pool with amazing views, all in a very beautiful and peaceful valley in the klein karoo countryside. This romantic cottage is located on Doornkraal, a farm that has been in the loving hands of five generations of our Le Roux family. Come take in the fresh air and explore our farm on foot or bicycle. We also offer horseback riding, a great way to see the area and get to know our beloved horses. Included in rate: A bottle of wine, some fire wood.
