Pappila sijaitsee kahden järven välissä, kauniisti mutkittelevan joen rannassa, rauhallisen maalaiskylän keskustassa. Päärakennuksen lisäksi pihapiirissä on vanha hirsiaitta sekä tunnelmallinen, vanhasta riihestä tehty sauna. Lähistöllä on kaikki palvelut ja aktiviteetit. Salamajärven kansallispuisto on lyhyen ajomatkan päässä.
