We are located in Goldstream valley about 9 minutes from Fairbanks. It is a quiet get away spot surrounded by birch trees. Life is simple here. The bathroom is an outhouse - common in Fairbanks. We have a banya sauna for bathing. Running hot & cold water inside cabin. A store & laundromat with showers 1 mile away. Ivory Jacks restaurant & bar 1 mile away, Sam's Thai 3 miles. Great northern lights viewing! Close to hiking trails & bird sanctuary. Our home is a 4min walk from cabin.

Aurora Pond Cabin and Winter Dog Sled Rides

Our cabin is designed to give you the real Alaskan log cabin wilderness experience, just 12 miles from Fairbanks town centre and airport. It is perfectly located at the doorstep of a host of activities all year round. In the winter and spring you can go dog sledding (which Simon provides)cross country skiing, winter biking and snow shoeing from your door step and Moose Mountain ski resort (5 miles away). In the summer there are biking and hiking trails.

Large, quiet, furnished apartment with private entrance and a full kitchen with lots of amenities, down to towels for the hot tub. Owners live upstairs but apartment is private and quiet. Can sleep six, is 10 min from town, and 1 hr from Chena Hot Springs. Light breakfast included! Dog on approval only.

Log cabin w/bathroom and screened covered porch

Unique hand built log cabin. My wife and I built it ourselves in 2005 for a gift store which we ran until we started having kids. Some Alaskan artwork is displayed in the cabin. We've added a bathroom, a kitchen and a covered and screened-in porch in the front. The location is great for the Fairbanks area.
