Safari Tent Set Next To A Historic Steam Railway

Our tents have an open plan layout with plush furnishings including a king size bed, wood burning stove, which doubles up as an oven, and a sofa bed. The internal space measures 4 x 5.4 metres and is erected on raised wooden platforms which insulate the tents from the ground. To the front of the tent is the veranda with a barbeque, gas hob, fridge, ice tray and food preparation area. The outdoor seating is perfect for al fresco dining (the washing up area is also close by). Plates etc provided.

Guests are welcome to access the beach at the end of our 200ft garden via a gate. Decking area near the gate just for guests' use overlooking beach Outdoor seating area next to caravan with Sea Views Opposite the caravan, attached to our bungalow is a private shower room with toilet and basin. Camby, our beloved converted ambulance is static on our drive with electric hook-up, heating, EV charging and WiFi available. Great for an overnight stay, or if you are working at the Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre which is a 20 minute walk from us. Basic, but a bit quirky and if you like staying in unusual places this is perfect. The local train station is a 15 minute walk away. Driveway parking is free. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk supplied. The Oaks - peaceful, scenic camping for tents

Bring your own tent to our tiny quiet campsite with no electric hook up and space for a few pitches (depending on size) with views over the field where our sheep, poultry and llama live. There are two separate areas, both large enough for up to 8 people. Although there is no direct access to your pitch for vehicles, parking is only a few yards away. August 2026 update: Please note that due to extraordinary drought conditions campfires may not be possible.
