Just a 3 min. walk to the beach & a 5 min. walk to the Inchydoney Lodge and Spa hotel! Spacious living area with a full kitchen, dining area, comfy seating, TV & Wi-Fi. Nestled between the rolling hills and only minutes from the coastline in the heart of West Cork is our delightful Gate Lodge. The newly built lodge sits at the entrance to our home Muckruss House. The Lodge is situated on its original site which dates back to the 16th Century when it was the home to the Gatekeeper of Muckruss. It is still very much part of local history which is why we have retained its historic charm while at same time creating an air of modern sophistication within .

We provide sourdough, homemade jam, a homemade tipple & a few staples on arrival. A rural retreat right in the heart of vibrant West Cork.
