Originally built in the late 1800s as a two room cabin, this historic cottage is known locally by many names such as the Gingerbread House, Hansel & Gretel House, or the Elf House. You will love this whimsical and cozy home full of historic details. Located less than one mile from Columbia's downtown district and Mizzou. **All guests must acknowledge/accept the rental agreement prior to booking. This is in the "House Rules" section**

Located within a 1 mile drive to downtown, your home away from home includes off-street parking, 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, patio, and fenced back yard. Our guesthouse is located on the NW side of Columbia. We can accommodate from 1 night stays to monthly reservations! 1 - 2 guests are recommended for long term and short term stays. 3 guests for short term stays. Welcome! Reconnect with nature at this tiny home on a working horse facility. Enjoy sitting outside on the patio, starting a fire in the fire pit, or watching deer and turkey wander by. If you are so inclined to interact with horses, we offer both riding and ground lessons for beginners to advanced - Maplewood Farm has been in business for almost 30 years! Located just 5 miles from Fulton, MO and only 20 miles from Columbia, MO and easy access to I70 and Hwy 54

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. This 100 year old bungalow serves as my private hair and photography studio when it's not moonlighting as a short-term rental! But don't worry...you will have the entire place to yourself!
