In nearby White Salmon, WA you'll find restaurants, shopping and easy access across the bridge to Hood River, OR. No pets allowed. Most comfortable for 2 guests, 3rd guest allowed with $25 fee/night.

In springtime see waterfalls on the Washington cliffs. Located 8 miles east of Hood River, Twin Oaks is near Mosier on scenic Hwy 30. This is in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge, with nearby hiking, biking, watersports, boat ramp, & ski areas. Enjoy the numerous wineries and local microbrews in the area.

Beautiful inside and out, Blackbird Cottage is located on 9 wooded acres. You'll have the entire second floor which includes a separate entrance, kitchen, dining area, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, washer/dryer, and deck with picnic table and grill. There are 3 queen beds and a twin bed, sleeping 7, plus a twin air mattresses if you want to get cozy. Explore the garden with goldfish & koi ponds, 1100' of creek, 2 waterfalls, & picnic area. Owner lives downstairs. No animals allowed (allergies).

*water pressure issue has been fixed! Niksen House is located just outside of Mt. Hood National Forest, 20 minutes from ski areas and an hour from Portland. The cabin is in a rural residential community and sits next to a 1/2 acre lot giving it an off-the-grid feel with all of the on-the-grid amenities. Walking down the path from the parking area you will see the confluence of Canyon Creek and the Washougal River and cabin nestled amongst cedar trees where you will be staying. The cabin was originally built in the 1920's as a vacation home for a predominate Portland Judge. A century later and the spirit of this escape is alive and well with a full remodel providing modern amenities in a beautiful and rustic setting.

Hiking, fishing, skiing are only minutes away!

Enjoy our beautiful cozy cabin that is heated exclusively by a wood stove, on the edge of a magical old growth cedar forest on our 11 acre farm and vineyard. Relax on the deck built into the trees, and sleep peacefully in the loft bed, as you soak in the nature around you. The cute out house is just down the path and the cedar hot tub/ outdoor shower is next to the garden.
