Our family has lived here since 1890, and we have a wonderful guest cottage sitting on the high bank with 180-degree views of Saratoga Passage, Mount Baker, and the North Cascades. With 900 square feet of open living area, a fireplace, full kitchen, washer/dryer, king size bed, high speed internet, 2 TV's, beautiful furnishings and easy access to the beach it's the perfect get-away!

Outside there are deck chairs and more by the water along with a meditation maze made from beach stones. The lighthouse is a short beach walk away. The reading and writing room, across the path, is a refuge for solitary study or work. Enjoy the water, marine life and birds here where each season brings new joy and sometimes, excitement.

Hansel Hideaway a "little gem" nestled under the canopy of the Ponderosa Pines. As you meander up the stone steps, you are enchanted immediately by its whimsy and captivating charm. This guest cottage is a separate unit set behind the main house. This delightful space provides a queen sized bed and a private bath. "The Shedd" used to be a shed before our architect got a hold of it and turned it into a retreat for writing, reading, and napping. The 800 sq. ft. guesthouse has a bedroom, bathroom w/ walk-in shower, small kitchen, dining nook, sitting area, desk, wifi, and A/C. Even though it's just a 7-minute walk to the village, our place backs up to the wilderness, with great views of Tumwater Mountain and Icicle Ridge. Best of all, The Shedd has many windows and lots of fresh air and natural light.

The island is also home to Camano Island State Park, which boasts 173 acres prime for camping, hiking and bird watching.
