The cottage looks out on beautiful Portacloy beach which boasts a Green Coast Award with spectacular local scenery, unspoilt beaches and walking trails nearby. The cabin is set on 5 acres of private lakeshore land, including garden areas. Enjoy access to your own beach and jetty right on your doorstep. The cabin is warm, comfortable, and equipped for a self-catering stay. Fishing is a favourite here, and a rowboat is available to rent. After a day outdoors or a swim, sink into your private hot tub. Families enjoy meeting our donkeys. Free parking .You’ll also find a private holistic clinic next door. Ideally located for exploring the Wild Atlantic Way

Wild strawberry Shepard’s Hut with Hot Tub

Beautiful shepherds hut powered by solar for an off grid experience along the Wild Atlantic Way situated on Connemara farm land located 20 minutes from Galway city and 10 minutes from Oughterard and Lough Corrib. Sleeps 3 with a double bed and a single bed. Kitchenette with running water and gas hob, separate fire pit/BBQ area and outhouse with toilet, sink and heated shower. There is a small wood burning stove in the Shepherds hut with kindling provided. Towels and bedding are also provided.

Cosy Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, cosy space in the rolling countryside and just a 40 minute drive from Knock Airport. For something more lively there’s Westport and Castlebar, with their shops, bars and the beautiful coastline and beaches of the Wild Atlantic Way. The 2 friendly cats, Muffin and Bruce, prefer to live outside but like to say hello. When not away working, I stay in a chalet on a separate piece of land close by but not overlooking the cottage. I do respect guest privacy.

Joyce's Cottage

Joyce's Cottage, one of two adjoining traditional cottages (the other being Derrypark Cottage) lies below the imposing Partry mountains on the shore of Lough Mask. This is the very best of Connemara. Solitude, peace and breathtaking scenery. Visitors can swim from their private beach, go for a cycle (bikes available) or simply sit outside and take in the spectacular scenery. A short drive (45 mins) over the mountains brings you to numerous secluded beaches on the Wild Atlantic Way.
