The Gardeners Cottage is set within the walled gardens of Corvisel House, built by Rear Admiral John McKerlie in 1829. We have restored the cottage in a vintage, quirky style with Donegal & Harris tweed soft furnishings & floral accents to reflect the glorious garden outside! It's located at the edge of Newton Stewart so very handy for evening strolls to the eateries in town. You can take walks in our small forest from the courtyard & hang out in the walled garden - green fingers are welcomed!!

Nook ( Carsluith holiday lodges) is a beautiful off- grid spacious lodge with a wood fired hot tub and stunning views across the Cree estuary. It is completely off grid so no tv or sockets only usb charging points in the bedroom. The lodge is pet friendly (max 2 medium dogs) for free sits in its own grassed fenced area on our 12 acre smallholding . We are situated close to the Galloway forest which is the famous for its starry dark skies and also has great mountain biking and walking close by.

Unfortunately no dogs/children/ infants are allowed as we are a working sheep farm & surrounded by water. Ivy Bank Studio, run by Mary & Jonathan, is an attached studio room of Ivy Cottage. It is independent from the main Cottage. Which itself was built in 1795 from local stone. It is situated on a private no through road, located directly in front of the Gem Rock museum and cafe. The location of the studio room in Creetown offers excellent outdoor views across to Cairnsmore Hill & Wigtown Bay. Creetown itself is a welcoming tourist village ideal for those wishing to explore Dumfries & Galloway.

2 Calgow Cottages is a fully refurbished semi-detached cottage in the heart of Galloway, within walking distance of Newton Stewart, described as the 'Gateway to the Galloway Hills'. Our large garden backs on to the mature woodlands of Kirroughtree Forest, famous for its recreational offering including bike shop and cafe, walking trails, and home to one of the 'seven stanes' mountain biking sites. Closeby are miles of coastline, hills, and spectacular scenery, ideal for that perfect getaway.

Truly luxurious holiday accommodation in a tastefully converted byre, set in a tranquil, rural location, but ideally located for all that the south- west has to offer. Petite but perfectly formed The Old Toll house is a perfect base to explore Dumfries and Galloway. The Old Toll house was built in 1813 the same time as the bridge was built. It was the original Toll house used to collect the payment for people crossing between Newton Stewart and Minnigaff. The old wooden bridge and ford was replaced in 1813 John Rennie (The Elder) won the honour of the commission. Thomas Telford his competitor also submitted plans. Thank you for your booking.

With stunning views over the bay and Galloway hills, you can relax with the whole family or friends. This beautiful area of Galloway has wonderful beaches, scenic hills and forests. A well behaved dog is welcome, the house is fully fenced (1.3m high at lowest point) and there are dog walking areas at the doorstep and a children's play park 50m away.
