The Nut House is a one of a kind large Acorn suspended up amongst the trees. While staying in the worlds largest acorn you will be fully immersed in nature. This historic and charming property is located in the heart of Denton, steps away from Courthouse on the Square. Enjoy easy, walking access to downtown Denton and UNT. This suite is on the 2nd floor of The House on Hickory, featuring 1 bedroom, 1 full bathroom, kitchen and living room area for a total of around 700 sq ft. Enjoy clean wood floors throughout and a fully tiled bathroom. Please note that thanks to the age of the home, the hardwood stairs can be a bit squeaky as well as low ceilings.

There is a large backyard. The kitchen has oil, sugar, salt, pepper and more than 25 types of spices, pots n pans - for our guests who like to cook. There are games for families and Netflix on the TV. Guests have access to washer & dryer as well. We try our best to ensure that our guests have a lovely stay!
