Make your break simple in my calm, 2015 built, well insulated, warm holiday home, all on one level. A 5 minute walk into Dornoch with its stylish Scottish stone buildings, Cathedral, pubs, restaurants, cafes & gorgeous independent shops. Its one mile from the stunning beach and famous Royal Dornoch golf course. The house is our personal respite holiday home away from our Scottish Highlands rewilding croft 15 miles away. Dornoch has a special seaside micro climate and is always warmer than Muie!

Almost off-grid, it has a comfy bed, central woodburner and spectacular view. It's the perfect stepping stone towards the full off-grid experience, intended for people who are curious about living the off-grid lifestyle but also like to be able to charge their phone, boil a kettle and have a hot shower! The hut offers a warm & comfortable place to relax & unwind. Our hut caters for 2, with a king sized bed, ensuite shower room, kitchen area and a wood burning stove. Outside, there is seating & open views. Situated in an area of natural beauty you will find yourself surrounded by stunning scenery, mountains, forests & beaches all waiting to be explored.

Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat, 9-5pm). You’ll love my place because of privacy of having your own country retreat within beautifully landscaped gardens. My place is small with one bedroom that contains either x2 singles or zip&link super-king size bed. The 3rd guest is on a roll-away mattress ideal for a child.

Sanitizer and hand soap provided. Take your own bedding or very basic bedding provided. No phone signal/WiFi. We welcome you to our guest flat which is attached to our home in Portmahomack. We are a sand dune away from a safe beach and coastal walks where you may be lucky and see otters, seals and some of the Moray Firth dolphins.The village has a golf course with a hospitable clubhouse And a fascinating museum the TARBAT DISCOVERY CENTRE whose website is well worth a look at. The general store has a good choice of foodstuffs which you can cook in our well equipped kitchen.

Our quirky, cute shepherd's hut sits in a peaceful orchard next to our house, and near to an historic mill. It is ideal for one or two people and comes equipped with a comfortable double bed, a folding table, a small kitchen area with a microwave, kettle and toaster and a tiny private bathroom, with a hot shower. Outside, the decking provides a space to relax. The BBQ provides an option for dinner. Drinking water is from a tap on the side of the hut.
