Yurt With a View

The Yurt is an extraordinary refuge from the frenzy of the city. Securely set high (7600ft) among mountains, the views stretch out in all directions backing up to the Cibola National Forest. Elk, deer, coyotes, and many birds share their land with us. The dark night sky is breathtaking. The yurt is off-the-grid lit by soft oil lamps after sunset. We also laid a seven-circuit labyrinth for meditative walking. A hot tub is available up at the house. You are welcome to this place of peace.

Casita Encantado is set in an idyllic garden, this quiet adobe style casita offers mountain & sunset views. Enjoy star gazing at night & hiking miles of trail in Eldorado in the day. Your suite has vigas, wood floors & is lined with books. The bedroom is cozy & comfortable while the bath & kitchenette are modern & well-equipped. A private patio is yours to enjoy. The fire pit and the hot tub increase the enjoyment the evenings under the stars. If you want to leave, Aztec is 10 minutes or Durango only 30. Tico Time is 10 minutes. House is stocked with condiments, spices, coffee, a pancake breakfast, wifi, cozy couch and loveseat, smart TV, queen bed, full bed and peaceful surroundings!
