Guesthouse Farm Stay

Come stay with us on our historic working farm! Relax on the back deck and enjoy views of our 12-acre property and peaceful pastures. For a more hands-on experience, join us for a tour to get a closer look at life on the farm. Established in 1739, our farm has a rich history in agriculture and livestock. The cozy studio-style cottage features an open living space with combined bedroom, living, and dining area, along with a kitchenette and bathroom with a shower for your comfort and convenience.

“LaBoDee”, a fun play on the word abode, house, is a tiny cottage located central to CT’s unique shoreline communities, just off I95. “LaBoDee” is one room with a fully equipped kitchenette, ready for those who would like to stay awhile. “LaBoDee” is on a property contiguous to a state forest (a trail is right outside the door) yet within walking distance is a delicious deli, market, gas station, pizza, a lake, and close by is the beach. A local restaurant has day passes for their beach- $20!!

A lakeside marina offers party boat rides & kayak rentals. Winter=relaxation by the cozy fireplace, games and ice skating when the lake freezes over. Projector Screen, Games, Books, AC, Heat, Outdoor Grill and a working fireplace. All year round, we'd love to have you at our home. which we love and use as a getaway from the city.

Water Forest Retreat -Octagon

Water Forest retreat is a very private 122ft.² electrified and heated cedar octagon next to a brook on 56 acres of forest with a pond, waterfall, marsh and hiking trails. Cozy up in this quiet comfortable space while listening to Goldmine brook while you sleep. Fire pit, heated outhouse with composting toilet, outdoor dining area, brook, pond and trail head are just steps away. We also have a TREE HOUSE and HIKER’S HAVEN house by the brook. Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Completely open concept and fully renovated. Country living yet just minutes to downtown Middletown and Wesleyan University. Come stay at our home away from home! We are about 20-25 min from the shoreline or travel in the other direction and you’ll be in our state’s capital, Hartford. We are only about 10-15 min from Wesleyan and downtown Middletown for shopping and great restaurants! You don’t want to miss this one!

The Village Loft: UNIQUE 1 BDRM W/ PRIVATE DECK

Located in charming downtown Chester, our loft rests above the newly established Village Bistro; with the loft being situated above our restaurant and on Main Street please keep in mind that you may hear some background noise during normal business hours. Additionally, you will be staying in a 200-year-old structure so there is some quirkiness that goes along with an aged building such as ours but rest assured you will feel right at home in this cozy, warm, historic space.

Penny Corner Airbnb

My place is located up the hill from Good Speed Opera House. The Opera House is on the same side of the river as my place. The folklore is that vacationers used to pay a penny to have their belongings transported by ox and wagon from the port at the river to this corner. A two family home built in 1884. The space is a ground level 1 bedroom apartment with private entrance. There is no TV in the unit, WIFI is available for your devices.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay with direct access to the lower Moodus Reservoir. The backyard leads out to the lake with a small beach area (fits approximately two lawn chairs). Sit on the patio by the fire pit and enjoy the view or grab a kayak, pedal boat, or paddleboard and enjoy your time directly on the lake.
