Welcome to Melody Mountain, a cozy forest cabin retreat perched 1,000 feet above Benbow’s Lost Coast. Tucked deep in redwood country, this private haven offers a jacuzzi under star-filled skies, amazing sunsets on the patio with quail, turkey, foxes, and deer, and a nighttime chorus of crickets and frogs. Lost Coast Cottage Petrolia

The Lost Coast Cottage is a beautifully remodeled home nestled in the Mattole Valley at the northern end of the Lost Coast. The house is just minutes from beaches and the Mattole River. It has natural wood throughout, with three bedrooms, two baths, a fully stocked kitchen and pantry, decks, new beds and linens, a propane grill and backyard. We want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Our exceptional cleanliness, amenities, location, and hospitality are why guests make repeat visits.

The Ocean Room Ferndale, private, quiet, tax incl

This large 14X20 room plus bathroom is for non-smoking guests. Windows with wooded views and a private entrance. Also a queen size Tempur-pedic mattress, WiFi, microwave oven (behind a cabinet door), electric tea kettle, toaster oven, Keurig, refrigerator, hot plate, bar sink, large TV (with over 250 channels), DVD player, and off street parking. Nothing high-end here (except the mattress) but very comfy, clean, and private. Also the bathroom has it's own on-demand water heater (not shared).

This gorgeous, fresh, and recently refurnished 1913 Craftsman home is located on historic Main Street in the beautiful Victorian Village of Ferndale. Enjoy the Redwood Coast and this beautiful home in the Victorian Village. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, parks, hiking trails, and only a 10 minute drive to Centerville Beach and 30 minutes to the redwoods! There is also a cottage on property available to rent if you need additional space. Note price does NOT incl. city occupancy tax.

Make a meal in this small kitchenette, stove, fridge, pop up counter top. Dishes, pots and pans, utensils provided . Small work desk, and table. Perfect for one or two.

Spend time among the redwoods near the fish pond in our elegant modern retreat with many artistic custom elements. Let the tension from the road melt away in our hot tub and spa like rain shower, then relax on our comfortable California King beds. Located in an upscale quiet neighborhood in the hills above Arcata, near extensive redwood hiking trails. Unwind in our sheltered outdoor living room, with a fire pit by the pond. **Please keep voices low out of consideration for the neighbors.**

Relax after a day of exploring the Humboldt Redwoods State Park in this peaceful, dog-friendly (for a fee), renovated barn. Nestled on a point, with spectacular views of the Eel River Valley ranch lands, redwoods, and majestic mountains. It is located right off highway 101 and just minutes to the Avenue of the Giants for exploring and hiking. Enjoy shopping and dining in the nearby Victorian village of Ferndale. It's the perfect central location for exploring all Humboldt has to offer!

The Head Water House is very easy to find just 5 miles off HWY 101, just shy of Old Town Eureka (10 minutes). This place is truly unique with it's "one of kind" natural Redwood amphitheater and open meadow views. The Elk River Valley is relatively quiet, dark starry nights, and has 50% more sunny days than Eureka proper. Equipped with Starlink, rural connectivity has never been better. You'll see and hear many species of birds, deer, fox, and maybe even a Barred Owl at dusk.

Wake up to the redwoods, head into town to enjoy a cappuccino at a local coffee shop, located only 15 minutes away from the Arcata Plaza, come back to enjoy a dip in the hot tub, then get a goodnights rest on our memory foam mattress, 100% cotton sheets and memory foam pillows. 2nd set of sheets & pillows will only be included for 3+ guests! 4/20 friendly :) Property is shared with our main cabin. NO FIRES ALLOWED - anyone who breaks this rule will be fined $300.
