Green Lake, located in Ellsworth/Dedham Maine, is a 3,132 acre freshwater lake with a maximum depth of over 170ft.

Newly renovated historic lakefront home on 8 acres with a lot of privacy. Conveniently located only 20 minutes from airport, this 2-story cedarshake home sits on the water's edge and is close to Bar Harbor and surrounding picturesque towns for shopping, restaurants and sightseeing. Large wrap-around porch (with dining table that seats 10 and several comfy seating areas) for family fun & outdoor dining. Large deck, perfect for swimming, lake fun and canoe rides. AC and heats in upstairs bedrooms.

Cottage on the lake

Cozy cottage on Graham Lake. Sleeps up to 5 people. But keep in mind the cottage is very small and would be tight for 5 adults. It’s more suited for 2-3 adults, or a small family. Imagine coffee on the deck with a view of the lake. Bring your canoe and fishing pole, or browse the shops and restaurants in downtown Ellsworth. If you like the outdoors, there’s plenty to do. The area is filled with hiking trails and beautiful views. Just 45 minutes from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor.

My Blue Heaven

The cabin is totally renovated with new appliances. Very cute and cozy, perfect for couples looking for a romantic get away. Jenkins Beach is closed for renovations this summer but you can still rent/launch boats there for a small fee. The cabin has WiFi and two TV’s, one has Apple TV, the other has streaming services as well and both have DVD players. Our cabin is not childproof, so not suitable for children under 5. Please look closely at the pictures if you’re bringing a small child.

BREEZE Treehouse, at The Appleton Retreat is located on 120 acres of private land, bordered by 1,300 acres of a protected nature conservancy. To the south is the Pettengill Stream a resource protected area and to the north a large secluded pond. BREEZE does not have a hot tub but guests may reserve the sauna, which is close by and private. The Appleton Retreat is less than a 30 minute drive to Belfast, Rockport, Camden and Rockland, charming downeast seaside towns.

My home is on a quiet street in Ellsworth, 18 miles from Acadia National Park and 4 miles from Branch Lake, the warmest water in the area for swimming! The Island Explorer, a free shuttle bus, takes you to Acadia and other towns on Mt. Desert Island free of charge from designated areas close to my home.
