Peaceful retreat to unplug and unwind. This off‑the‑grid experience has no electricity or flushing toilets, we do provide the essentials: running hot water, an outhouse, and propane lighting. Stay includes access to a handcrafted, wood‑fired hot. (Tub is still under construction. Landscaping and some final details are not finished.) Four-wheel-drive, or high-profile two-wheel drive vehicles are needed to get to the cabin. We must greet guests at arrival to show you how to use the propane lights.

The cabin is equipped with all the modern amenities you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and a cozy living room. Whether you’re looking to relax on the porch and take in the stunning river views or explore the nearby hiking trails, River Bluff Hideaway is the perfect place to unwind and recharge. You may even see some eagles 🦅

The Ranch House cabin (2020)at Old Desperado Ranch has a rustic western cowboy theme. The stone fireplace (electric) was hand made with local rocks from the creeks and rivers. The two bedroom cabin is very spacious and is equipped with everything you will need for your stay. Just bring your food! The cabin is dog friendly, see pet policy. Windy’s Will pick you up for your float from your cabin. Be sure to check our other cabins- bunk house, tiny house. Trailrides available by reservation.

The river access for swimming, crackling wood burning stove, and hot tub are just some of the many things about this cabin that you are sure to love!

The deck is a great place to just sit and relax and let the world pass by. A spring fed Creek Runs along the edge of the property and is great for just sitting and relaxing. There is a BBQ pit and fire pit on site. Pets are welcome.
