Located close to Durdle Door, Lulworth cove, the world famous Tank Museum and Monkey World Going west is Weymouth and Abbotsbury, east is Corfe Castle and Swanage, inland to quaint villages

Cosy Cornish Woodland Retreat

Escape reality in this thoughtfully converted Woodland retreat, in the renowned and secluded 40 acre Pendarves bluebell woods. Near the historic mining town of Camborne, we are a short 20 minute walk from the mainline train station (6 by taxi). A plentiful supply of local attractions, reached most easily by those with their own vehicle. St Ives (13 miles), Falmouth (15 miles), Penzance (20 miles). Sadly we do not allow pets and due to the nature of the site, it is not wheelchair friendly.

Get away from it all and stay under the stars, in our eco, off-grid, bus conversion at Dreamacres Glampsite. It's in an international dark sky reserve with truly sensational panoramic views. Grasshopper has a comfortable double bed and small double sofa bed, bedding included. Compost waterless toilet, kitchenette with sink (cold water only), 3 ring hob, fridge, basic kitchen equipment, fully heated. There are 4 USB charging points for your mobile devices. Hot showers at the top of the field.

Enjoy panoramic views of the countryside from the windows, watch the sunrise from your double bed or cabin bunk bed. Heating and a wood-burner will keep you warm and snug, whilst the kitchen area provides plenty of space to cook up a delicious meal. There is a shower downstairs and a loo and basin upstairs.

I converted it during lockdown #2, and spent a few months living in it last winter, lighting many fires and seeing the occasional otter. The space is solely yours, in a little woodland nook hidden a field deep from the road, you won't see anyone or visa versa. It's also fully fenced, for your pets to enjoy a run around. Both the coast and the relative wilderness of Dartmoor are 30 mins away. Enjoy some stars ✌🏻
