The Old Silk Barn off Bruton High Street

The Studio at the Old Silk Barn is a newly created space for two people situated literally off Bruton High Street with its Michelin Star Restaurant, numerous art galleries, Museum, shops and restaurants. The space consists of a luxury kitchen & breakfast bar, sitting area, ingenious Italian Murphy bed, & is very comfortably & stylishly furnished. The apartment with underfloor heating, offers a large bathroom, TV, washer/dryer, dishwasher & everything needed for a comfortable self catered stay.

Enter the flat by a spiral staircase into a welcoming, warm and comfortable space. The flat has retro inspired furniture and furnishings throughout. The sitting/dining room is a warm blue with little pops of colour, and has a great view over the garden to relax and have breakfast with. The kitchen and bathroom have a quirky design, and are clean and fresh feeling, having all the amenities you need. A remote, 200-year-old stone barn converted into two self catering cottages, retaining the open facade of the original building, situated on the Gotten Estate . Hidden at the end of a country lane, tucked away at the foot of St. Catherine’s Down, a mile inland from the south coast of the Isle of Wight, in the middle of an AONB. Ideal for walking or cycling. This beautiful and unique beachside cottage could not be any closer to the sea, you can sit with your morning coffee and have a chat with the swimmers out of the window! Little Islet has panoramic sea views across Plymouth Sound, and is the perfect location for a relaxing holiday by the beach. This house was previously used as the green room for the movie 'Mr Turner', whilst also serving as a residence for lead actor Timothy Spall! We recommend 4 adults & 2 children, or maximum 6 adults.
