Welcome to your cozy retreat that has everything you need for a comfortable stay- a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom basement apartment with office space for remote work and private yard/entry. With a location walking distance to St. Joseph's Hospital, this is the perfect spot for traveling staff or someone visiting a patient. Just down the steps across the OUTDOOR LIVING ROOM, step into the "Shower Grotto", inside an Old Growth Redwood Stump with a Rain Shower.

Experience nature in comfort in a glamping dome with an outdoor shower, outdoor kitchen and outdoor dining. Please read all of the property description before booking. The property is in a redwood forest with a good size meadow for sunshine and flowers. It's a great base camp for exploring the beautiful beaches, Redwood forest and local cities of Trinidad and Arcata. Maximum 3 guests, or 4 guests if one or more guests are under 12.

My guest space is a small, private room (11x7, not incl bathroom) attached to the back of my house. The room has a private entrance off the backyard with an attached private bath. I offer keyless entry. Guests can enjoy the attached deck off the room and relax in a peaceful yard. The room is a burst of color to contrast with the gray days in Humboldt. The room is a short walk to the zoo and several restaurants. Old town is a quick drive.
