While it is stylish and comfortable, it also leaves you at nature's doorstep where you can explore all that the Alaskan wilderness has to offer: Summertime access to scenic hiking and biking trails; fishing on many nearby creeks & rivers; and accessible cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails in winter. You'll be a world away from it all, while still just 30 miles from the nearest town.

Climb aboard back to 1956! This DC-6 air freighter spent its life flying the skies of Alaska, hauling critical frieght and fuel to remote villages around the state. Now you can climb aboard for one last flight and stay in this 2 bedroom, 1 bath airplane house with full kitchen, living room, and cockpit! Sleep comfy on the beds made up w/ nice linens in our prime location! Relax in a chair, sit by the fire, take a hot tub, sauna, catch a fish or just watch the sunset or the Northern Lights.

Some great local activities are heli rides, snowmachine expeditions, hiking and much more!
