My father executed his vision and built Mahoney Manor from the ground up. What started as a "camp" eventually became his full-time home before his untimely death in 2018. Nestled in the woods at the base of Ira Mountain just minutes from Sugarloaf and along the Carrabassett River, Emmett created a sanctuary. He spent the last years of his life "developing" two empty lots into a Zen-like nature trail system with hand made bridges and benches perfect for 4-season walking or snowshoeing.

The absolute perfect place to ice fish with the kids. Watch the flags from the window or while your roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. Try your hand at smoking meat on the pellet smoker and propane grill combo. Bring your snowshoes (or rent ours) and take your dog on an adventure around the lake.

The Beaver Cove Marina is a short drive away and provides convenient access to launch your boat for the day.

You’ll love my place because of the coziness, the location, the views and all the outdoor activities in the western mountains of Maine.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). In season you can enjoy fresh vegetables from our gardens.
