The Wabash Erie canal and the railroad intersected in this little town! This home is the old general store and post office! Elmer and Ethel Grubbs operated this until 1976... Historic 1815 Farmhouse

Escape to another world in our historic property steeped in American history. The main part of the house was built in 1815. President Andrew Jackson owned the house and farm in the early 1800’s until conveying it to his ward John Jackson in 1831. The house has been renovated and modernized, all the while keeping the old world charm. Jackson Farm is a perfect base for those attending events at Purdue University, or just looking for a quiet retreat in the countryside.
