I'm Clare, your host, and I’m delighted to welcome you to Biscuit Cottage; a special project I consider to be a reflection of me, and the experiences I’ve gained from 30 years of styling, all around the world! I hope you will find it stylish, elegant & cosy, and I hope you will love our amazing village, Milford on Sea. Our village is a true hidden gem, full of independent shops, restaurants & bars. Your accommodation overlooks the village green, and you're less than a mile from the beach!

The Old Stables a beautiful, cosy and stylish barn conversion near Freshwater Bay on the Isle of Wight - Dog Friendly. PREFERENTIAL FERRY RATES AVAILABLE - see below. Originally forming part of the historic Farringford Estate - the home of the famous poet, Alfred Lord Tennyson - the cottage nestles at the foot of the downs. It is located up a private lane in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty within easy walking distance of Freshwater Bay, nearby shops, a superb cafe/bar and friendly pub

Palmerston House is an impressive 3 bedroom terraced house, part of the 150 year old Grade I listed Golden Hill Fort. The Fort is surrounded by Golden Hill Country Park, located between the harbour town of Yarmouth and the village of Freshwater. 360 degree views from the communal roof garden stretch across the Solent, English Channel and West Wight countryside. This family friendly home away from home sleeps 7 in 3 double bedrooms (1 ensuite) and has a spacious open plan kitchen/living room.

We want you to kick back and relax in this calm perfectly located cabin. It is located 2.6 miles away to the historic town of Yarmouth and is on the Isle of Wight Cycle route and perfectly situated for the huge amounts of walking trails West Wight has to offer through countryside and woodlands, beaches and towns.

Tiny home-garden cabin near Freshwater Bay

The Bird Hide is ideal for singles or couples (max 2 people) interested in exploring the local area with its own garden and separate access. A comfortable king size bed, seating area and with it's own dining and inbuilt kitchen, it offers all you need for a short stay. It has a separate bathroom, as well as on outside decking area to catch the evening sun. The Bird Hide is 5 minutes walk from Freshwater Bay, even closer to footpaths to the Downs and the local village via the SSSI trail.

The Pod

The Pod is a unique space, a few minutes walk from Colwell Bay, and the popular HUT restaurant!It is a wooden structure, full of character nestled within our garden which has a ‘fort wall’ around it, dating back to 1863. The Pod is self contained with a kitchen, bathroom, living area and mezzanine bedroom,which is at the top of a uniquely hand crafted paddle staircase (not suitable for children or anyone with mobility concerns) Also available to use is our garden and outdoor seating.…

Close to beach with garden, family & dog friendly

Rose Cottage is a 3 bed cottage (sleeps 5 plus infant) situated less than 5 mins walk from the stunning beach at Freshwater Bay. Close by is Tennyson Down with its stunning cliff top walks to The Needles as well as beautiful beaches at Totland & Colwell Bay. The cottage has an enclosed front and rear garden plus off street parking. Within short walking distance are Dimbola Tea Room, The Piano Cafe, Farringford House, The Albion, the bus bar and a visiting pizza van in the summer.

‘Smugglers’ quirky hideaway

Smugglers was once an old stable attached to the back of our house. It’s still linked to the house, but is self contained. It’s unusual shapes and fixtures make it very quirky and would suit people that like something a bit different. There is a main double bed and a mezzanine deck ideal for relaxing on. The little kitchen allows you to stay in and cook for yourself if you fancy a cozy night in. The courtyard in front of smugglers can be used for bbq’s if the weather is kind!

Bungalow with Sea Views

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful getaway! A period Arts and Crafts bungalow with a sunny, fenced, garden overlooking Freshwater Bay. You are welcome to bring your dog and walk from the front door in every direction to enjoy the West Wight. Enjoy a short stroll down to Freshwater Bay, continue further all the way to the Needles in one direction. Step out of the back gate and onto the bridleway leading over the downs to our favourite place, Compton Bay.

Iconic Beach Front Stay | The Watch House, Lepe

Bay, Brambles Chine, Colwell Bay - WiFi & The Hut

Beau and Bay are two semi detached holiday bungalows, which have been completely refurbished. Each offering glimpses of The Solent and within a stones throw of the beautiful Colwell bay, with its beaches and eateries. The restaurant The Hut, is a 15-20 minute walk away.
