It is located only 32 mins/22 miles from Kings Canyon National Park where you can enjoy walking among the majestic giant sequoias of General Grant Grove, relaxing at Hume Lake, or adventuring in Boyden Cavern. The cottage is also a perfect location for a peaceful getaway where you can spend time simply relaxing amidst classic California scenery: oaks, pines, and the ever-changing skies.

Unlimited outdoor activities...hiking, biking, boating, fishing, backcountry skiing, and a 5 minute drive to the Cat Haven.

Birdlife is abundant and nearby is Cat Haven ( featuring lions, snow leopards etc.). Yosemite is within reach for a day trip. We have a great coffee shop 2 minutes away! When we first saw our place, we fell in love with the views, yet we never imagined becoming a sanctuary for animals (and humans too)! As parents, our only regret is not doing this sooner!
