Melrose & Tweedbank railway station is a 10 min drive, Edinburgh is just under an hour away.

The open plan lounge/kitchen is well-equipped while the ensuite open plan bedroom is cosy with a bright bathroom with bath/shower. Kennels Cottage is located on the picturesque and private Yair Estate, which is situated on the banks of the River Tweed in the heart of the Scottish Borders, approximately 35 miles south of Edinburgh. The Yair is a perfect base from which to explore everything that this part of Scotland has to offer. The cottage is situated on the Southern Upland walk a cycle route and there are published mountain biking trails a stones throw away.
