Or head up highway 35 to explore the East Coast, with Tatapouri over the hill and 10min to Puawa marine reserve. Beach is safe & peaceful for swimming and surfing for all abilities.

This lovely old bungalow is a house of 2 halves. One of which is a 2-bedroom dwelling ready for your visit. The dwelling is located centrally within the beautiful city of Gisborne. A 5min walk to the city and 10min walk to Waikanae Beach makes 'Kowhai on Kahutia' incredibly accessible. Recently renovated to match its bungalow bones, come and discover more history of the house and local area as a part of your stay here. Note the interior has been renovated however the exterior is still a WIP.

The Okitu store is 1km away, there is a cafe (Zephyr) a 3 minute drive away and the City Centre is a 10 minute drive. Perfect place for a couple or a single for a relaxing getaway.
