Step from the front lawn onto wonderful Wainui beach - well known for its world class surf. Ideal for families ,with plenty of space to move around in the living areas deck & lawn with the spa overlooking the sea . Enjoy the majestic sunrises appearing over the eastern horizon and the magnificent sheep studded hills to the west. A few minutes walk to the local cafe & beach store and 6 minutes drive to the Gisborne city centre . Sorry PETS are NOT welcome. Our spa is currently not working.

Bach Wainui Gisborne海滨

Beach front bach on Wainui Beach. Fantastic views whatever the weather, stunning surf beach, the bach overlooks it all. Wow factor sun rises, keep the curtains open and have a treat! The cottage has a queen bed in an annex in the main area so you can wake up to the view, or watch the waves at night under the moon. There are bunks in the bedroom, a heat pump for toastie winters, this place is a rustic humble piece of kiwiana beachlife, a total rejuvination space and a surfers heaven.

We are located at Makorori Beach, just a 15 minute drive from the centre of Gisborne and just 5 minutes further over the hill to popular Wainui. Our place is newly built, behind a historic building, only metres from the beautiful Tokomaru Bay Beach. The facilities are all modern, with heat pump/air conditioning, acomodating 4 people with style, comfort and ease. One queen bed is in the lounge as a pull down/retractable and the second in a separate bedroom. Shower and toilet is an ensuite shared by all guests but accessed through the bedroom.
