Hillrise Cottage is a peaceful and picturesque property on a hill above the gum trees with spectacular views of the Grampians to the west. 15 km from Ararat and 30 km from Halls Gap, Hillrise Cottage is a great base for exploring the beautiful Grampians region, (30mins away), taking in the local wineries or just relaxing. Chill out in this unique home, stroll around the 6 acre property and check out the large dam, beautiful trees and abundant wildlife. Hillrise is 2.5 hours west of Melbourne.

Pets are very welcome but strictly not inside please.

Waratah Cottage is a spacious 4 bedroom house amongst the trees in the heart of the Grampians. Only 2.5 kms from the centre of Halls Gap. The rear entertaining deck, with BBQ and retractable shade awning, faces north with views of Grampians landmarks Boronia Peak and The Pinnacle. The house is in an bushland setting with regular wildlife visitors. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 with queen beds and 2 with single beds, and sleeps 8 in comfort. All linen and towels are provided.

The cottage is light and airy with full picture windows facing the mountains, this includes the main bedroom. A deck also allows outdoor access of the same views. It is fully self contained and you do not have to share any part of it with others not in your group. Both bedrooms and the lounge room have reverse cycle air conditioners, and ceiling fans. Fast WIFI is also available at the cottage, perfect for those working away from home.

Views up to the famous Pinnacle from the front door and Boronia peak from the back deck. Three large bedrooms include a king bed in one room, queen in another and two bunks in the last.

A few minutes walk would see you to the Old Bakery, Royal Mail, the General Store, Café 109, Izzys Mountain View Café, along with the essentials of a bank and pharmacy. The perfect location for relaxing or hitting the trails.

Luxury linen, Nespresso machine, aircon, heating, full laundry facilities all within a beautifully decorated interior. The cottage has total privacy and overlooks the golf course. There is a separate entrance and plenty of room for parking.
