The expansive patio is adorned with extra seating and a BBQ The pool awaits beneath the warm California sun. Simply notify the owners, and the pool is yours to enjoy. Relax and enjoy 5 acres of expansive views of the mountains and treetops! The house is surrounded by pine and oak trees with lots of privacy. Perfect family or couples getaway but still close to town. The bedrooms are very spacious and the beds are super comfy! The kitchen is fully equipped. We are about 15 minutes away from downtown Grass Valley and Nevada City. Yuba River, mountain biking, and hiking are about 20 minutes away from the house. Skiing is about 50 miles away.

Our historic house is in downtown Plymouth- within 10 minutes to over 50 wineries. Walk to wine tasting and 5-star dining. Our private and tranquil home and gardens await. Relax by our outdoor fireplace, enjoy the outdoor kitchen or just lay low. We are an easy drive to the Bay Area, Lake Tahoe and Yosemite. We are child and business friendly, with high speed internet, scavenger hunts for children and adults, fairy garden tea parties and more. Six guest maximum. No exceptions.

Sugarloaf Madrone Studio is tucked into the slope of Sugarloaf Mountain, overlooking the 7 Hills of Nevada City. It is a 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk to downtown restaurants, arts, and nightlife. Despite its proximity, you will feel like you are in the country with pastoral views, local parks, and a quiet neighborhood. You will share the house with a totally separate apartment on the ground level. The Madrone Studio is great for rest, relaxation, and being close to nature.

With just less than a 10 min drive to the beautiful crystal blue swimming pools of the Yuba River this will truly be your gateway to relax and unwind or for a fun adventure in the Sierra.

The Crooked Inn is truly a gem located right between walking distance to both the Auburn State Rec Area and Downtown Auburn. All the benefits of a house, with all the conveniences of a hotel. Owned and operated by me, a local Auburn resident, it's easy to feel at home while on the road. From an extensively stocked kitchen, oversized towels down to night lights so that you can find your way to that midnight snack without stubbing a toe.
