A complete renovation provides all modern day comforts and a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy after a day in Provence. The village of Menerbes (A Year in Provence - Peter Mayle) has mostly local villagers living here. Beautiful walks and cycling are popular pastimes. There are museums, an art gallery & a few shops run by locals. Unspoilt and completely unique.

The property enjoys an exceptional location with a view of the village of Roussillon. Out of sight, the large garden surrounds the house which nestles next to an ochre cliff. The 11-metre-long salt pool is lined with olive trees and lavender trees with the profile of the village on the horizon. With historic architecture, high ceilings, and a stone water basin that stays at 12°C, the house is ideally located near shops in a lively village. Ancienne maison de berger, situé au bord du ruisseau de la loube, cette petite maison paysanne a été restauré avec soins par des architectes passionés d'antiquités. La maison s'organise sur deux étages dans le tout petit hameau de la Loube. Autour, un jardin frais et ombragé au milieu des collines du Luberon. Le village de Buoux est à quelques minutes à pied au dessus. C'est un lieu de paix, de calme, de nature, un lieu pour se ressourcer.
