Munising Getaway

My place is close to great views, family-friendly activities, the beach, restaurants and dining, and art and culture. My place is less than one mile from snowmobile trails and you can begin your day of riding right from the house. There is plenty of parking for multiple trucks with trailers. You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambiance, the outdoors space, and the neighborhood. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups.

Enjoy this unique 1 bedroom/2 bed , 1.5 bath A Frame on the Chocolay River approximately 5 miles from downtown Marquette, just off of HWY M-28. Expect traffic noise. It has aQ bed upstairs with an attached full bath with shower/no tub and a Full size sofa/futon downstairs with a half bath on the main floor. There is a narrow spiral stairway leading upstairs. The washer and dryer and electric sauna are located in the basement which has an outdoor entrance only, accessible by the outdoor stairs.

Bedroom 1 has king bed and bunk beds with a sliding barn door separating them, while bedroom 2 has a queen bed. This home has a beautiful view overlooking Furnace Lake, but does not have lake access. Plenty of FREE firewood for the firepit for relaxing around a fire in the evening under the stars. Maple Leaf is centrally located 1 hour or less to U.P. attractions. South Manistique Lake which is 2 miles north of cottage. You can access the trails from the south of cottage 300 feet on a scenic trail in the woods about 2 miles turn left or right to find the trails.
