This charming cottage resides approximately 11 miles west of Portree 1 mile before the village of Edinbane. Minchview as the cottage is named ,sits overlooking the Loch and on a good day the island of Harris can be seen along with stunning views towards the bay at Edinbane. This cottage has been a family home for over 140 years and has just had some recent refurbishment whilst trying to retain the authentic character of a typical Skye cottage of this generation. All guests are welcomed warmly.

Outdoor and fishing enthusiasts will enjoy taking advantage of the rowing boat on nearby Loch na Stapaig - the owner's private hill loch. Please be aware life jackets are not provided.

Only a ten minute walk from Loch Bay Restaurant, the Stein Inn, Skyeskyns and Diver's Eye, the lodge is surrounded by nature and wildlife with stunning views. It offers the perfect, peaceful break. A cosy shepherd's hut on a working croft near Edinbane in Skye. Conveniently located for Portree, Dunvegan and Edinbane, with excellent access to destinations in the north and west of Skye. We run an eight-acre croft with dairy goats, ducks, a wee orchard, a vegetable garden and a small, newly planted woodland. Guests are welcome to explore the croft and we are always happy to show folks around.
