You'll spend peaceful days in the lush gardens and walk to the Mayan towns of San Antonio and Santa Catarina Barahona. Should you like, you can also get to know the kids who visit the "Caldo de Piedra" library next door. (Proceeds go to support it.) Pickup and drop-off from Antigua is provided (weekdays, up to 6 pm.-restrictions apply) Nature-, book-friendly.

This cozy wood and stone cabin is located at the top of a mountain in a small Mayan village. The cabin overlooks the mountains and is surrounded by nature and tranquility. We are a 30-minute drive from the village of Lanquin (partially on a bumpy dirt road in very poor condition) and then a 200-meter walk on a rocky and sometimes muddy and slippery mountain path! If you are an adventurous nature lover and want to wake up in the clouds to an epic view, then this place is for you!!

Ten acres of beautifully manicured gardens with pool overlook the lake and its surrounding volcanoes. The gardens make this a bird-watcher's paradise. There are 7 properties on this amble estate. The views are amazing but it does involve walking up numerous steps. If you are arriving after dark, please make sure to bring a torch with you. Only arrive by boat and not by car.
