We offer a peaceful and comfortable 1930's mountain cabin in the heart of the Klamath Mountains. The setting, nestled among large, ancient, fir trees and majestic hardwoods, is a perfect base camp to explore the surrounding mountains and rivers. Local highlights include the Marble Mountain and Siskiyou Wilderness Areas and Wild and Scenic Rivers including Dillon Creek, Salmon River and the Klamath River. The Salmon River Outpost in the town of Somes Bar offers food, beverages and more.

The Birdhouse Retreat| Views & Hot Tub

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Immerse yourself with the sound of the forest gazing at the Applegate valley and lavender farms below. Walk around in over 10 acres of forest and enjoy a forest bath and sounds of the river below. Minutes from renowned Applegate Valley wineries and Applegate lake. Wildheart River Sanctuary

Come relax and get away to a peaceful river front home. This house has seen a lot in its hundred years overseeing the beautiful and historic Klamath River. The home has been renovated and updated but still has much of its rustic charm. If you are looking for a river front home with private beach this is your retreat space. The home has a private spring for water to drink and bathe in. It has all the comforts and full amenities you’ll need including a well equipped kitchen for you to enjoy

Jade River Lodge

Our cabin is in a beautiful forest setting, perched above the wild and scenic South Fork Smith River, only 15 minutes from Redwood Parks, an ideal and quiet location in the summer sun with river access to a sandy beach and swimming hole. Fully supplied, including firewood for the wood stove and campfire, this off grid retreat has standard electrical power and outlets with ample power supplied by solar panels and an automatic start generator(monitored by us). WiFi included.

Full kitchen, BBQ and tables make the place nice for dining, and enjoying company or solitude in nature. Comfortable beds, a TV, and two baths round out the house. The house is within 1/4 mile of the store, pizza parlor, swimming hole on Indian Creek, and Klamath River.
