Our home is a comfortable space for families & friends on an adventure, getaway, staycation or as a remote work place. Located on 1.5 acres in Lake Elmore, VT you'll enjoy both peace and beauty. The Lake & Elmore State Park are only 1/2 mile away. The classic New England village of Stowe is our close by neighbor.

Historic House in the Village of Hardwick

Rochester House is near restaurants, trails, family-friendly activities, and lake beaches. It's convenient to many destinations, including, Hill Farmstead, Caspian Lake (beach) and Craftsbury. A short walk to the Farmer's Market, grocery stores, and most village restaurants. Downtown is .7 miles, 15 min walk. This may be too far in winter. There is a city plowed sidewalk all the way during snow season if needed. House of Pizza is only 2 blocks. We are in the village, please respect neighbors.

This charming space includes a fully equipped kitchen and a private bathroom with a claw foot tub/shower. Two queen beds, air mattress & futon mattress. 12 mi. to Montpelier and 7 mi. in the opposite direction to Lake Elmore, 4 miles to Worcester Trailhead and 6 miles to Hunger Mt! A beautiful sanctuary for peace and quiet or Netflix and Wifi, your hearts desire!

Merle Cabin on Private Lake and 230 Acres

Situated on the grounds of a former summer camp, this freshly renovated 1-bdrm cabin has a modern kitchen, full bathroom, and sleeps up to 4: double bed & two twins. Best for a couple or family. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, fridge, coffee maker, and all basic cookware. Clean sheets & towels are provided. Merle has a small front porch and is a one minute walk to the lake. Waterbury Center Guest Bedroom - 244 Howard

The guestroom room is very cozy with radiant heat in the floor during the winter. The separate entrance is off a covered porch. The porch has chairs and a table and is very pleasant in the warmer months The little kitchen alcove is convenient for coffee or tea or a light meal. We live in a historic building and our neighborhood is located very close to Rte 100. Waterbury village and Stowe as well as skiing, hiking and biking are all nearby.
