There is ample space for boat and car parking and the “Cadillac of outdoor showers” is ready to wash your worries away before you relax on the deck, enjoying the view of Shackelford Banks. The Yates Cottage

Welcome to the beauty and nature of Core Sound! The Yates Cottage is directly on the water and has spectacular views of Core Sound and Cape Lookout Lighthouse with large windows. Other amenities are a screen porch, fire pit, and a large yard for lawn games. The Yates cottage is great for couples, families, dogs (with a single $150 pet fee), joggers, walkers, bikers, fishers and boaters. You will be welcomed with freshly-made beds, towels and a full kitchen with Keurig and Rachel Ray cookware.

House is stocked with plenty of kitchen necessities and other conveniences so all you need to do is show up ready to relax!
