This was the residence of Thomas Davey who managed the Harrietville Gold Company till the great depression in the 20’s. From Green Gables, it is an easy walk, ride or drive into the township of Bright with its boutique shops and eateries, regular festivals and of course beautiful European style landscape all nestled in the foothills of the Victorian Alps.
