The River House

Come escape the pressures of everyday life at this cozy relaxing cottage along the Susquehanna river. Windows galore which allow the beauty of the river to be enjoyed from the entire house. Open floor concept with two bedrooms on an upper landing, and a large bathroom. Exposed beams, hardwood floors, granite/butcher block countertops, walk-in shower, claw foot tub, I could keep going. Enjoy the wonderful wildlife which include bald eagles, osprey, beavers, ducks and many more. If you’re hungry, you can order delicious pizza from a real Sicilian in town or fine dine at the Accomac Inn which is just a 5 minute walk down river. Perfect road for a walk, run, or bike ride. This place is truly a relaxing home away from the everyday hustle. Please come enjoy. Close to major highways and sits between Lancaster and York (20 minute drives).

We have created a cozy getaway that reflects our Scottish heritage, nestled in a neighborhood near Harrisburg, and just a few miles from Hershey. We encourage you to sit back and enjoy the cottage , or head out to explore all the Harrisburg/Hershey area has to offer, or a bit of both! There are great restaurants, shopping and entertainment venues nearby. The cottage is a unique space to make lasting memories.

Lovely cottage enjoy amazing sunsets from the back porch with first floor eat in kitchen- full refrigerator, microwave, stove, coffee bar and grill. The living room features a comfy sofa and chair for reading with queen sofa bed and tv, 1st floor full bath walk in shower. 2nd floor has a lofted ceiling with a queen bed, vanity, tv, desk and chair. (all within 3 miles) We are central to Gettysburg and Hershey (30 miles), Harrisburg,Carlisle, Boiling Springs, Allen Berry Play house, the Appalachian Trail, and LeTort Spring Run! (all within15 miles)

Welcome to the Cabin at Mitchell Run - designed to bring people together! This versatile space is perfect for a couple or multiple families by sleeping up to 12 in beds and accommodating lengthy stays. The outdoor pavilion and campfire facilitates memory making activities. Although nestled in the foothills of Shade Mountain, this cabin has excellent high speed internet (25mbps). Located outside Beaver Springs, it is 20 min. from Rt. 322 and 25 min. from the Port Royal Speedway.

Private, peaceful, newly built house is surrounded by a beautiful meadow. A bald eagle nest is visible from the front porch. On the other end of our eighty acre farm is The Owl House, our newest Airbnb listing. We are halfway between Hershey and Gettysburg!
