Our lovely cottage & courtyard garden is on a quiet street in old Harwich, just one road back from the pier. Excellent pubs & beach staggeringly close, 5 minute walk to train station, 2 stops to international ferry to Holland, London 1hr20m. The cottage has three bedrooms over two floors (with very steep stairs) and is suitable for children & well behaved, house trained pets. I have completed the Control of Cross Infection in a Post Covid 19 World Qualification, which guides our cleaning regime.

South facing with extensive views across the rolling countryside, it is self contained and private, perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday, a romantic break or a base for exploring the rich heritage and beautiful villages around us. There are good pubs within comfortable walking distance and footpaths and narrow lanes to explore close by - or just take a wander around the farm.

The Old Piggery

The Old Piggery is a 5 minute walk to the beach with incredible views looking onto the river Stour estuary. As a recent conversion it has a modern, open plan layout with large French windows in both the living area and each bedroom, filling the house with natural light. A wood burning stove & underfloor heating create a cosy setting to relax & dine in.
