This is a beautiful newer build with great attention to detail. This includes a private bedroom, bathroom and well-appointed kitchen with everything you could possibly need for a perfect vacation. This property is 10 blocks from high-cliff ocean, on the dead-end side of the street, with very little traffic. The lanai overlooks our 1-acre avocado orchard with 70 avocado trees, lychee, papaya, mango, banana, pineapple, mandarin, spinach and lemongrass. Please ask my husband, Jason, what is ripe.

Awake with the sound of a donkey braying and doze off to the sound of the ocean and the coquis. We live in a beautiful rural setting on the East side of Big Island, Hawaii, 8 miles from the groovy town of Pahoa. Pahoa is the gateway to seeing lava, surf on the east side, strumming an ukulele under a coco tree, soaking in lava heated pools and many more adventures. Surrounded by orchids and other tropical flowers, the cottage is located on two lovely landscaped acres - 30 minutes from Hilo or Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The property is solar powered, an off-grid sustainable system with 4G phone service and fiber optic wifi. The last two miles are on unpaved gravel road in variable condition depending upon how much rain we've had lately. Four wheel drive isn't necessary but an SUV or similar vehicle with higher clearance is recommended.

We have newly installed air conditioning for your comfort! Hale "Hā Hā" is located 3 blocks from the ocean, and a short drive to Pahoa town for stores, services and nightlife. Experience the Big Island the way that the locals do. Explore the Hamakua Coast. Visit green and black sand beaches and the world's largest active volcano, Mauna Loa. Visit Volcano National Park. Currently Kilauea is not active, but one never knows when it will erupt!
