Slow living on the farm. Welcome to Coop d’État Farm Retreat on Kings Mountain—set among old-growth redwoods with ocean views, a fire pit & a private hot tub. The apartment sits on our working glamping property, where chickens roam, goats graze, dogs stand guard, and our cats supervise from afar. We’re a 10-minute walk to the Purisima Open Space trail network. This cozy apartment occupies the lower floor of our home & includes a private entrance and parking, access to a shared picnic & BBQ area.

Accessed via a flight of garden stairs, it has a private entry, dedicated street parking, a private patio, luxurious large bath with a walk-in shower for 2, large jacuzzi tub for 2, heated floors, A.C., mini fridge, toaster oven, & microwave! The bedroom features a queen-sized bed, table for two, large screen smart TV, and strong fiber optic WIFI signal. Located in a beautiful neighborhood with wonderful hikes just outside the door.

Guesthouse Garden Retreat

Our 'sister guesthouses' consist of two small side-by-side cabins (you get both) located behind our home, nestled in a verdant hillside garden that our friends and family lovingly call ‘Little Tuscany’. Cabin 1 - living room with a well-stocked kitchenette, pull-out couch, table and chairs Cabin 2 - bedroom with a queen-size bed, full bathroom and a private deck Accessed by a private entrance, the cabins are luminous and efficient, designed to meet all your needs.

Hike-in Bay Views Cabin w HotTub

Hike up to a well designed, small-but-mighty modern cabin with fast WiFi, your own hot tub and a panoramic view spanning across the bay from the Golden Gate to the San Mateo bridge. 108 stairs lead up to the Aerie, so if you don’t want to get your steps in, this is probably not the space for you! 15 min from OAK and city life, but a world away. Sunsets are glorious here. The Aerie is a special spot just for 1 or 2, so leave the posse behind. Registered guests only.

Oceanfront w/ Direct Beach Access + New Hot Tub

This private oceanfront retreat offers direct beach access, lush gardens, and a spacious lawn. Walk to restaurants, music venues, and galleries nearby. Relax in the hot tub with ocean views or gather around the fire pit at sunset. Surfer’s Beach and Princeton Harbor are just north, and the Coastal Trail passes by for scenic biking and walking. Enjoy surfing, golfing, horseback riding, swimming—or simply unwind with a cocktail while watching the sunset.

Berkeley Bitty House - a little bit of home

The Berkeley Bitty House is our cozy little detached guesthouse, located in a quiet residential neighborhood that is a few minutes drive to campus and within walking distance to many landmarks. Although itty bitty, it feels luminous and private, with a large skylight and windows that overlook a private deck with hot tub. The view of the bay from the private deck is breathtaking.

Step inside and enjoy the out-of-doors. Bright, private guest suite. Not suitable for cooking. Hot tub, YES Our most asked question is about the hot tub. Hot tub is private, well maintained and for exclusive use of guests. If at any time, and this has never happened, the hot tub is out of service, we will notify you in advance and make adjustments if necessary. Enjoy

Traditional Japanese architecture tucked away in a great Berkeley neighborhood. Peaceful and quiet but just a few blocks to UC Berkeley, all the restaurants of the "Gourmet Ghetto", and the North Berkeley Bart station.
