Situated in a quiet part of the small Victorian town of Helensburgh, a 5 minute walk to the centre, shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes and Helensburgh Central and Upper Railway Stations. Local amenities include the esplanade, sailing, tennis and swimming. Situated beside the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park,you can also enjoy woodland rambles, hill-walking, kayaking, cycling or golf, and perhaps a visit to Hill House,a National Trust Property, designed by Rennie Mackintosh. The cottage is located at the bottom of the main house's small private garden. It is quiet & secure. Half a minutes walk from Largs train station. Fully equipped for self catering. This studio style cottage has a shower room with towels ,shower gel, toilet rolls and handwash supplied. A small kitchen area with electric cooker, sink, fridge with ice box , kettle and toaster. The kitchen cupboard is stocked with complementary tea, coffee and cereal. The fridge will also be stocked ,fresh milk,etc.

Grounds are extensive and views are breathtaking. Loch Long shore is at the bottom of the garden and there is a kids play area. Easy access to Loch Lomond, Glasgow, Arrochar Alps, Faslane and Coulport Naval bases.

Rhu itself has a large marina, a welcoming wee pub and local shop. All in all a peaceful property, in a beautiful location.

Although this is a traditional cottage it's super comfy and warm , we have replaced all windows and the door and the heating is super. We have updated to fast fibre Wi-Fi, full kitchen and big wall mounted tv .
